The tenth edition of the Festival del Nerd opens today in Foggia, an event that has firmly established itself within the city's cultural landscape, drawing thousands of enthusiasts of comics, film, television, music and cosplay each year.

The inaugural day's programme unfolds across the principal cultural venues of the city centre. At 11.30, Palazzo Dogana hosts the official opening with an exhibition curated by comic artist Domenico Carbone, showcasing original artwork ranging from Zerocalcare to celebrated Marvel authors, complemented by a live painting session led by students from the Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Lyceum.

The afternoon moves to Teatro Giordano, where a live performance featuring Sturniolo, Jeff Sisti and Mr Cardillo takes to the stage at 15.00, followed at 17.00 by an exclusive meet-and-greet with Darko Perić, widely known for his role as "Helsinki" in the internationally acclaimed series Money Heist. Meanwhile, Cinema Cicolella hosts a public conversation with filmmaker Nicola Conversa.

Corso Garibaldi comes alive with family entertainment, costumed characters and a live set from Spiderband. The evening concludes with an aerial dance performance by DiORHa, before the main stage headline event — Areanuova By Night: Back to 2000 — brings the night to a close from 21.00.

The Festival del Nerd reaffirms Foggia's standing as a leading destination for pop culture and quality entertainment.
